      Perform a wide variety of basic office clerical support and court operation tasks while learning court policies, regulations, and procedures; performs a variety of specialized tasks related to the assigned area of responsibility. Currently as a CSA I in the Traffic department monitor workflow answer routine questions from the public, refer customers to the appropriate court staff/ windows. Perform duties which include public counter, mail, copying, data entry of basic case data, office records and files. Desk duties include the citation desk and public counter. The Cite desk is where we receive citation from different Police Agencies sort through the citation, reject those that need to be rejected and send back to the appropriate agency. Prepare and batch citations create a transmittal to send to the Data Center, to enter the citations into Odyssey. Prepare dismissals sheets for the Judge once it comes down update the case accordingly. End of the month destruction log for scanning and citations. Public Counter which included helping defendants with their citations giving them their options, taking payments, scheduling trials or arraignments, receiving correspondence, TBD, agreements to pay, etc. Also scan and verify, I help out on setting arraignment through the mail, processing the traffic mail as well as every three months process the building mail, as well as process community service completions.
