Verify and validate work pack status as reported by WTL in the schedule. Communicate with WTL resource needs to comply with schedule and priorities proactively. Working on Heights: ensure all contracts wear appropriate protection devices, monitor that sufficient tie-off points are used, ensure scaffolding has been appropriately tagged and that instructions are followed. Consult with the safety department if needed. Add falling objective prevention policy. LOTTO Lock TAG-OUT: Monitor that all operations, maintenance and CSG apply locks as required. Consult with relevant parties should locks be removed. Ensure PPHA/JSA/SYLA/HA are being conducted. Source of Ignition (open/non-open flames): Ensure contractors have relevant and verified equipment. Ensure that all drains within 50 feet (15 meters) are covered during hot work activities and that covers are removed once work is completed. Ensure that housekeeping is sufficient etc. Special Confine Space Entry – Insert Entry: Ensure that contractor complies with all requirements, ensure communication is maintained, pre-entry meetings conducted, and that atmospheric testing is on-going. Recommend and upgrade or downgrade of permit conditions as work scope changes. Gas Detections: Audit that gas testing is performed when required and that delays are minimized in testing. Show less
