Co-founded SAT TIME Inc., the first independent reseller of satellite capacity and associated communication services in the United States. Under his marketing leadership, between 1982 and 1985 SAT TIME Inc. concluded over 600 contracts for the use of satellite transponders and ground facilities, resulting in sales in excess of $7 million. SAT TIME, Inc. subsequently formed and developed Teleport Denver, a telecommunications company comprised of several metropolitan fiber networks, a Denver-based domestic and international satellite gateway, and a fiber installation company. His responsibilities included market development, hardware evaluations, costing/pricing analysis and the development of operating/marketing plans. The company began operations in June of 1987, initially capitalized with $6 million which was negotiated and arranged by SAT TIME Inc.
