  Primary nurse in the ventilator unit. Provides Tracheostomy Care, suction as needed, Assessment of respiratory status, Pulse rate, Secretions from the tracheostomy site, Presence of drainage on tracheostomy dressing or ties, Appearance of incision, suctions as needed and report any abnormalities to MDs, change inner cannula as per protocol. Administer feeding via GT tube, GT stoma care and maintain patency of tubing. Deliver a complete range of RN services and expertise. Accurately obtain and document patient history and medication lists, assess individual conditions and needs. Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments. Monitor patient reactions to drugs and carefully document progress of individuals participating in clinical trials. Prepare residents for surgical and radiological procedures, IV line placement, initiate and maintain intravenous therapy, and operated 12-lead EKG. Urinary catheter placement, maintenance and removal. Wound care and dressing change. Explained treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients. Assess residents’ medical and social needs, and provide assistance as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care to the patients.
