  Initially taken on to manage the WHQS program, then moved to deal with the Asbestos challenges for the organisation. The following was achieved in an environment where large numbers of stock were system built, still containing huge amounts of asbestos in poor condition, there was little understanding generally of the asbestos regulations, and the organisation was fire fighting through a stock transfer from Blaenau Gwent to Taicalon. 1. Set up a survey program for 4200 stock.2. Establish an asbestos register.3. Drive greater asbestos awareness and competence through the organisation and its contractors.4. Manage all reportable incidents under RIDDOR including tenant emergency rehousing and subsequent remediation.5. Establish policies and procedures forming a comprehensive asbestos management plan for the organisation.6. Project manage a decant program of near 90 properties including the temporary rehousing, of all tenants, complete strip out of asbestos walls and ceilings etc, and complete refurbishment of the properties to meet WHQS. 7. Consultant to the management of the asbestos process in the reactive repairs department.8. Ran a contractor team for the removal of artex ceilings following water leaks and water ingress from failed roofs prior to a roofing program for the stock.9. Project managed the refurbishment of a large sheltered complex, roof, electrics, lighting, whqs, extensive asbestos removal, all while occupied.10. Set up and operated all systems and processes for the operation of above projects.
