  In 2005 I started playing the Great Highland Bagpipes for the Austin Fire Department Pipe and Drum Corp. In 2007 we separated from the department to form our own 501(c)(3) non-profit band that is comprised of Central Texas Firefighters, Police Officers, and Paramedics.
