Non-Destructive Testing is a wide group of analysis methods used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a system without causing damage. Pogo is a finite element software package designed to very quickly calculate linear elastodynamic wavefields in the time domain. I have been working on some aspects of PogoPro, which is a platform independent GUI for Pogo. The purpose of CodeU was to help high potential students to strengthen the technical and soft skills needed to successfully apply for future technical opportunities. This year's program included 4 virtual Hangouts, 4 coding assignments marked by Google engineers, regular meetings with a Google mentor and an in-person summit from July 5-7 at the London offices. This program ran over 3 days and was a good opportunity to any female undergraduate student on an Engineering or Science course to discover how it feels to be an engineer in the office or on the field. I took part in exciting activities that were meant to highlight real engineers, worked on team exercises with students from several other universities and created new connections with Schlumberger Employees.
