A life time ambition. Over 100,000km covered over 4 continents, 24 countries, 1000s of people met and cultures experienced. We covered some ground: plane, train, bus, coach, truck, boat, bicycle, elephant, helicopter, hitch-hike and even our own two feet. Where you ask: Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos. Well you did ask. We met a lot of people. We stayed with family, with locals in their homes, with strangers in hostels, in other people’s homes through Couchsurfing, in tents, and every once in a while, in a nice hotel. We saw life, like Sea Turtle Nesting. We saw some of the happiest and saddest things in life. We went to some of the natural and manmade wonders of the world and were equally enthralled and appalled at the sacrifices involved in the latter. Travelling is hard, at times it brings out the best and the worst in you. It also changes you and I am sure I came back as slightly different people. Show less
