      The project was carried out in an industrial environment with the theme "Rationalization of the Logistics Warehouse", focusing on three distinct phases: planning, diagnostic analysis, and improvement proposals. In the first phase, objectives were established, and solution requirements were specified. Additionally, the project was subdivided into stages based on the milestones defined by the University. The second stage of the project involved company recognition, including mapping of the production and logistics processes and characterization of the organizational structure. To achieve this, data collection and processing on the factory floor were necessary. The final stage consisted on studying, comparing, and quantifying the expected results of various improvement proposals. Close cooperation with employees allowed for the presentation of viable, solid, and suitable proposals for the identified problems.Proposal for a new layout for the Logistics Warehouse:- 16% increase in storage capacity;- 50% reduction in the area occupied by waste;- Improved storage flexibility;- Enhancement of visual management and operational ease through the use of Andon systems.Proposals for the management of shin guards and packaging materials:- Cost-benefit analysis of different shin guard ordering policies;- Implementation of programs for control and management of shin guard and packaging material inventory;- Development of record sheets and operational instructions for controlling shin guard quality.Key Learnings:- Communication and engagement with academic and industrial stakeholders;- Interaction and collaboration with operators;- Teamwork;- Application of various tools such as DMAIC, BPMN, AutoCAD, and VBA.
