Since the start of 2022, I have been a member of the student organization Young Industrial Innovators at the University of Agder. I have continuously contributed to large projects delivered by Yi2 in addition to smaller voluntary projects within the organization. These projects span from web and application development, filming and editing, e-learning courses and media promotion of Yi2.

Course Developer

In collaboration with Edvin Sæverås and the Grimstad Fire Department, we developed a digital fire prevention and emergency course for the students at UiA. The finished course was published on SiA's (Studentskipnaden i Agder) website as a recommended course for any of the students living in their apartments.

My colleague, Suleyman Selcuk, and I worked on developing depth maps of the coast line, lakes and rivers in Norway and Sweden. This was done by downloading high-resolution satellite images and running them through a python script in the QGIS software. These maps would be imported in to the FiskHer mobile application for users to locate the best fishing spots.

For our bachelor's thesis, I worked in collaboration with my colleague Edvin Sæverås and Mechatronics Innovation Lab to develop a brand new website and promotional videos for each of their main technology services. https://mil-as.no/en/https://www.youtube.com/@mechatronicsinnovationlaba3247/videosWe developed the website using Wordpress and Elementor, in addition to filming and editing six promotional videos posted on their youtube channel.

I have been working at a storage room at UiA where students can borrow video and audio equipment for the various media courses. My responsibility is to make sure that the students get the right equipment for their assignments and that they return the equipment withing the time limit.

I worked for two years as a Teacher Assistant in the course DAT101 Programming at the University of Agder, where I taught fundamental programming skills (Javascript) to other students during lab and online sessions.
