  I am working as a Senior Psychosocial Counselor since 2012 in BRAC Institute of Educational Development, BRAC University. I completed my M.Sc. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Dhaka. I also hold a diploma in Transactional Analysis from Asha Counselling Training Services, Coimbatore, India. Beside this I completed practitioner course in Neuro Linguistic Programming from Delhi, India. My professional objective is to create opportunity for the people seeking mental health support in the community. I have been trained in developing para professionals in the society to handle any kind of mental disaster and trauma. I love to work in group approaches. Developing training modules and short courses for various psychological issues (trauma, psychological first aid, parenting, anger, stress, etc.); designing and implementing projects to provide mental health services to different age groups and socio-economic strata (e.g.-underprivileged school children, adolescents, street children, trauma survivors, teachers, school management staff, parents, community health workers, government officials) are my uniqueness in my profession.
