I closed my own business and decided to be a part of the team in a developer role. The project had big architectural problems and I informed the client regarding it. But we continued to create new features instead of doing critical refactoring and then war started. I got into a road accident during evacuation from Kharkiv and new team was found during my absence. Then on my comeback and attempts to find a role in the new team - the business owner decided to fire me and we ended our cooperation. It was a great time to be a freelancer and to have a possibility travel across the world and work remote from any point of the Earth. Many lessons learned, it was not an easiest way to open and then to close my own business. Appreciate this experience so much! Great freelance times. I started with DLE (very popular on that times CMS in russian web) modifications - I had local network web site running on my own computer. When i shared my modules to another people i obtained many questions from another CMS users, so i started to help them, and that was a beginning. After that I starting developing modules for Joomla, Wordpress, vBulletin and other actual CMS and forums. Great freelance times.
