Anastasis was an important part of the University of Cyprus research and technical team that designed and created the system and software of the "Integrated Platform for Security, Information and Accessibility in Intelligent Multi-modal Transport during the PRODROMOS project, which was co-funded by the European Union, Greece and Cyprus. It is remarkable that the platform created with Anastasis’ involvement is inter-operable both in Greece and Cyprus. Anastasis had a key role in the project with his understanding of the technical needs in relation to the transport specific requirements contributing to the development of effective software solutions. He was involved in, among other things, designing the architecture of the system, hardware and database programming, plugging in Geographic Information Systems and communicating with stakeholders and audience through reports and captivating presentations. Anastasis is a highly professional individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a solid scientific knowledge, who showed great loyalty to the project’s goals. His skills in analyzing and building solutions, along with his ability to communicate his views and knowledge effectively across different audiences, will be an invaluable asset to his future employers, colleagues and associates.
