I have had the pleasure of supervising Anastasia while she was working at Columbia College as an Administrative and Student Service Assistant. She worked closely with international students of varying English proficiency and was an integral member of the student support system in our community. I was particularly impressed with her tremendous growth in such a short period of time and her eagerness to improve processes and communication strategies whenever possible. She not only completed assigned tasks promptly while skillfully handling impromptu requests but also sought out ways to change things for the better. It was apparent that she was continuously stepping out of her comfort zone and seeking ways to improve herself. There is no doubt that Anastasia will be a great asset to any organization she works for, and I would fullheartedly recommend her for any future opportunities that arise.

I'm fortunate to have worked with and managed Anastasia Shamshyna in her role as Administrative and Student Services Assistant at Columbia College Secondary. Anastasia was a go-getter, creating innovative and efficient ways to not only do her job but to improve and update systems to make others work easier as well. She was able to work collaboratively but also take on and lead tasks with little direction, making her incredibly reliable in a fast paced work environment with a vast variety of stakeholders. Working with International high school and College students aged 15-21, Anastasia was able to relate and form meaningful relationships with students, creating an inclusive environment for vulnerable aged youth. She was a well respected and admired role model for students. Her organization, innovation, effective planning, strong speaking skills and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with students were especially valuable in her role as leader of Student Council. I have no doubt that Anastasia will be an asset to the next organization she works for. I'm happy with the work she did as Administrative and Student Services Assistant and I give her my full recommendation.
