My main role at TASC football, a small football charity based in England, has been to formalise a digital marketing strategy in order to boost social media engagement and subsequently increase bookings. Main Achievements: •This has been accomplished through a social media campaign that involved implementing paid ads on both Facebook and Instagram resulting in a 400% increase in post engagements and a 25% increase in social media account followings. •I have been given the creative freedom to design and publish a website as part of the strategy, which TASC previously lacked, that includes a booking system as well as other features. •Collaboration with the founder to co-produce engaging and compelling content for both the website and organic social media posts. •The conceptualisation of an email and SMS marketing campaign that resulted in a 10% increase in bookings over the period of 3 months. The business clinics is a pathway run by The University of Strathclyde, it involves students undertaking a consultancy project with the aim of solving specific issues in an existing business. Myself and my team worked with the Glasgow based start up Gyphto who are in the process of launching themselves as an app. We were tasked with recommending an app based loyalty scheme that Gyphto could utilise in order to create repeat custom and to gather consumer data. We proceeded by conducting an analysis of various loyalty schemes before selecting and recommending the type of scheme that Gyptho should implement. During my time at Waitrose I had two different positions. My first was as a checkout’s assistant, a role which I remained in for 3 months. My key responsibilities were; to build a rapport with customers, assist customers who are unable to pack for themselves, promote changes in the company/store and deal with any difficulties and queries. After 3 months I was moved to the service counters as my manager recognised I was capable of more. I was also. Responsible for ensuring that the other counters were running efficiently and offer assistance where needed.
