Responsibilities included:  In-charge of Pharmacognosy division and GC-FID instrument.  Planning & setting up of laboratory as per regulations (for AYUSH certification).  SOP generation and quality control for Pharmacognostic analysis.  Sample analysis (extracted essential oils, fatty acids etc) through GC-FID, HPLC & HPTLC & standardization of protocols and methods.  Microscopic & macroscopic analysis of crude herbs & ASU drugs as per Pharmacopoeia.  Miscellaneous laboratory related assignments, including collaborative research.
