Nov 2021 - Jan 2022
I had my first experience in the front office in this establishment, having to deal with almost everything related to the hotel's rooms, occupancy, and guests. All three months were variably different from one another due to my different mentors in my training, each one with unique approaches to complex guest complaints or requests. I learned how to efficiently use the Opera system to perform check-ins and lightly touch on the many billing options. Guest reservations with the many departments were also another skill I had learned about and how to improve upon the ways I could inform my team about any uprising situation regarding guests. Issuing all the required paperwork and documents regarding SHA+ was yet another invaluable skill that added to my time management and teamwork traits. Show less

Internship Trainee
-
Nov 2019 - Jan 2020
This internship was completely based on F&B, the entire duration of my training was spent in Esspresso (The main buffet restaurant). I had spent the first month as a back of house trainee then a tray runner in the second month which included clearing and setting up tables, clearing trays, and making sure all the stations were up to standards before every service sequence. The final month was mainly service attendant training that involved dealing with order taking, handling minor complaints, wine service, and serving hot drinks. Show less
