I have worked with Anas at Lloyds Banking Group during the Loans Redress and Remediation project. It was a pleasure to work with someone who has such great work ethics, enthusiasm and drive to not only succeed but go above and beyond. He also supported members of the teams to ensure quality and production were achieved. We also had the pleasure of leading training sessions and also helping new to bank teams gain competency. I have also seen him manage individuals in our team and his management style was unique and effective which can be taken onto any role. Anas would be a valuable asset to any company, his skills and methodolgy would be beneficial for any projects he may go on to lead.

As an Portfolio manager I worked very closely with investment analysts and fund managers. This involved taking decisions about investments, while analysts would provide financial information and recommendations that enabled me to make such decisions. My role consists of: • regularly meeting with investment analysts and company managers to discuss financial matters • researching companies • gathering information • reading financial briefings (often written by investment analysts) • making informed financial recommendations and decisions • keeping knowledge up-to-date about the UK economy, current financial news and financial markets • assessing and interpreting complicated financial information • liaising with clients
