Responsibilities:1)Automation Systems:-Configuration of Plant PLC network over Ethernet and Control Net Protocol provided by Rockwell Automation-Execute planned maintenance & ensure upkeep of all automation systems in plant – Process Control System (PCS), sub control PLC system-Perform timely backup of software, proper check & storage procedure-Get involved in implementation of the change management procedure for logic changes in PCS / PLC Logic (RSLogix5000/500 by Allen Bradley) & Simatic Manager by Siemens.-PCS (SCADA) Server and Client configuration provided by Flsmidth & Citech.2)Preventive Maintenance / Unplanned Breakdowns / Shutdown activities:-Preparing preventive maintenance routines and execute daily / weekly plans in co-ordination with Planners & capture the same in SAP-PM module-Support Automation Supervisor to carry out effective shutdown planning and optimizing cost in terms of material and man-power-Interact & distribute jobs among technicians (based on their skills)-Participate and give out all required HIRA’s, JSA’s, work permits and other OH&S related activities to ensure safe workplace3)Performance Improvement Activities:-Participate in downtime analysis and RCFA meetings to decide preventive measures-Successfully ascertain plant operational parameters and act in time in case of any deviation-Participate in and support of creation of yearly budget-Propose & check reduction in spares consumption & inventory cost according to budget.4)Project Management & Commissioning:-Propose design (AutoCad Electrical 2014) and drawings and set scope, deliverables & timelines for various tasks-Communicate as well as supervise the deliverables with the contractors and technicians.-Conduct Instrument troubleshooting during commissioning and check out process.-Collated and assessed all vendor & contractor documentation prior to payment submission.-ISO & OH&S related documentation and practices implementation.
