  Student leader for Wayzata High School Marching Band:- Organize and order repertoire for the fall Marching Band season and winter Pep Band (Spirit Band) season, and work outside normal band class during the marching season.- Conduct the 200+ member ensemble in rehearsal, and conduct all field shows and other performances; direct bands when to play, what to play, and what speed and time to keep- Maintain communication between band directors and Marching Band students by attending preseason meetings and rehearsals with the directors and band staff, and meeting with directors and rank lieutenants once a week or more to generate feedback and discussion. - Serve as a liaison between the band and the directors - including bringing problems andconcerns to directors, as well as maintaining policy and a strong work ethic within the group.- Represent Wayzata High School on biennial tour to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.- Demonstrate skills such as marching, performing commands, and upholding integrity of the band in private and public appearances.- Conduct a variety of musical styles, and provide musical leadership in rehearsals, sectionals, and performances.- Assist directors in conducting during games, pep rallies, and rehearsals.
