Jun 2011 - Aug 2011
Teaching English at the Mohammad Hussain Sufi Foundation (School), Kot Ishaq, Lahore, Pakistan. The branch of schools included in this foundation aim to provide a quality education to students who might otherwise not have such access to academic institutions, and who reside in the rural and remote areas of the Punjab region in Pakistan. I taught English to a fourth grade level class of students, and the emphasis was on teaching them how to read and write. I also helped in the organization of other academic programs, namely, compartmentalizing reading materials and worksheets for their age appropriate students. Show less
