Feb 2021 - Jul 2021
Researched and created a power point presentation that consolidated the dense, articulated and wordy Climate Action Plan documents for 9 different cities in Riverside and San Diego Counties. The powerpoint presentation was presented at the general meeting for the Sierra Club Santa Margarita Group on July 8th, 2021. The presentation highlighted the intersecting topics and differences between each individual cities and counties climate action plans, as they individually plan for a changing climate and implement mitigation strategies and efforts now and in the future.

CSUSM Office of Sustainbility- Eco Challange Campaign Intern
-
Sep 2019 - Dec 2019
Main intern dedicated to the Eco-Challenge Campaign, hosted by San Diego Food System Alliance that focuses on food waste prevention. The SDFSA is a network of 120 different groups and a 40 voting members counsel that envision a change to the current food system in San Diego. Most importantly, the change SDFSA envision includes distribution, health, food security, philanthropy, production, education and government. I used the knowledge obtained from lecture settings with relevant course work in: Environmental Justice and Food System and Emerging Markets, and used it in a professional setting. I learned more on the effects of the current food system in San Diego County and assist in ways to develop improvements and mitigate the effects of food waste to climate change and the environment.
