  During my 3+ years working at Applied Survey Research, I adopted a multitude of responsibilities and roles within the organization. I was responsible for administrative work, such as typing up meeting notes, organization and filing, as well as preparing reports, presentations, and articles using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Applied Survey Research is known for its Community Assessment Projects (CAPs), which I would assist with by proofreading and cross checking information before they were published. I also helped with survey distribution by organizing mailing/contact lists and preparing mail-in surveys. One of the highlights of this work experience was when I planned, organized and worked at a biannual event called Project Homeless Connect (PHC) to provide free resources to people in need in Watsonville, CA. I worked with various providers and stakeholders to make this event possible.
