Ana Rokafella has an amazing wealth of knowledge and talent. She is a stunning performer who also polarizes her audience with the cultural depth of her presentations. It was an honor to work with Ana as she and Russell Ferguson, and other dance celebs judged a dance competition for Hot Stepz Magazine. Ana's work as a performer, filmmaker, publisher and educator put her on a level all her own.

I make sure Full Circle -the company known for its unique brand of "U" themed dance performances- maintains its steady forward motion regarding its administrative operations, artistic vision, global visibility, the cast of performers and artists, necessary consultants and its financial stability. We have an Urban yet Universal message--as does Hip-hop. The film highlights the challenges and triumphs of women who carve a niche for themselves in a male dominated dance community of Break Dance. I helped to produce the film with support from Full Circle. For the past six years, a solid team of friends have continued to add their artistic flair to this 45 minute testimonial to the contributions of women to Hip-hop. Screened at Lincoln Center's Dance of Camera in 2011 and at The South Bank Center in London, this film is a unique attraction at many Hip-hop cultural festivals and events. All the Ladies Say has also been screened at local film festivals, primary schools, dance academies, dance competitions and universities. Dance discussions, performances and dance classes are also offered in addition to the screenings. We look forward to showing it at many more events including yours.

Classic Hip-hop dance styles instructor, Dance Intensive course summarizing the aesthetic of urban movement from street to stage, from oppression to freedom. Music and web influences are cited as catalysts in the global growth of Hip-hop and the progression of the underground as its indigenous incubator separate from the packaged mainstream branch of Hip hop..also offering testimony of women who have succeeded in creating a space for themselves. Do the Write Thing is a national essay contest that brings winners from 30 school districts together in Washington D.C. to explore solutions to teen and domestic violence through performance. I worked in tandem with Say Word Entertainment's selected artists to create a 20 minute collage using students essays and hip-hop elements to represent an artistic channel to express concern and offer solutions to the problems the youth are encountering. Worked closely for their Hip-hop academy programming in High Schools and theater presentations. Recieved grants and solo performance opportunites that helped shape many of my solo pieces at places like Pregones THeater, BAAD and Hostos Community College. Performed in Pepatian's Negrura with two other latina bronx based choreographers and traveled to Cornell to workshop this piece. Pepatian's Executive Director Jane Gabriels has also GREATLY helped Full Circle with grant writing and advisory/consultation skills. PEpatian has also hired Full Circle dancers for performances and open mic series.
