In line with the Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan for Europe (RRMRP), the Inter-Agency Coordination Intern supports the Inter-Agency Coordination Unit (IACU) to fulfill its responsibilities to contribute to UNHCR’s efforts to lead and coordinate an effective, coherent and predictable humanitarian response in support of the Government of Greece. - Supporting the IACU in all aspects of inter-agency refugee and migrant response coordination (including note taking, data analysis and presentation and meeting management; - Assisting sector coordinators and the Inter-sector Working Group to ensure inclusive and effective development; - Supporting the IACU to draft guidelines, strategies, and other documents with special reference to coordination; - Compiling and maintaining data relevant to inter-agency coordination, coordination mechanisms in Greece; - Assisting in administrative tasks as required and responding directly to routine queries; - Providing other coordination-related support to as needed. Casa Vida also develops social enterprises focus on providing life skills and vocational training to the girls that live in Casa Vida safe-houses, facilitating their return to families and communities. Any profits generated will contribute to support the self-sustainability plans for Casa Vida. Kafé Aroma Project, a restaurant school, is one of this social enterprises. My role was to develop a communication and marketing plan and to implement some projects to leverage the business and broaden the public using the organization’s various services, with a view to boosting the project’s sustainability.
