  As veterinary officer I work primarily in two areas: inspection of products of animal origin and clinical procedures to homeless animals. In both areas I work in development and implementation of a registration system through the development of different forms, records and documents. In the inspection area, I act as inspector of the Municipal Inspection System (SIM) in a beef slaughterhouse, checking the documentation, the hygiene and procedures performed before, during and after slaughter. Besides, I organize and develop the system, assessing all the documentation of new companies and making your registration. In addition, I work on the development of new legislation to improve the functioning of the SIM. With street animals, I realize emergency clinical procedures, small treatments, medication administration, registration for castration, instructions about different treatments and referrals to private veterinary clinics when a surgical procedure or a longer treatment is necessary. I still elaborate the technical specifications for the purchase of goods and contracting of outsourced services to the area of veterinary by the public administration.
