  I’ve been working in the Clearing Department of OMIClear (the Central Counterparty and Clearing House - CCP of MIBEL Derivatives Market) as from the beginning. Over 10 years of my professional life I've taken part in several successful projects of OMIP Power Derivatives Market and OMIClear, including the launching of new products and services, implementation and supervision of the CCP risk management model, alignment of the CCP rules to the European Market Infrastructure Framework (EMIR). I’m currently the Head of Clearing of OMIClear working on the core functions of the CCP, which comprises the registration, clearing and settlement of positions arising from the MIBEL derivatives contracts, margin computation, collateral management, monitoring of risk management exposure to different types of CCP counterparties, assessment of different type of risks such as market, collateral, liquidity, credit and operational risk, specification and of technical features to be developed in the clearing software. I’m also speaker at the meetings of OMIClear Clearing Members Committee and at training sessions managed by OMIP and OMIClear.
