Once I settled in Australia, I experienced work restrictions due to my visa’s own nature. Indeed, there was a path of hard challenges and discouragement. However, this opportunity inspired me to invert my plan’s equation: wether I was working or not in marketing and communication my ultimate goal is to tell the truth. This desire urged me to look beyond my plans and therefore use my creativity. As a result, I decided to work again in the education field but this time my company was a class, my biggest competitor was myself and my costumer needs were as specific as the ones I do with this kids. At the end, I experienced the joy of a different equation but still the same result. This is for me the Communication’s beauty Regarding to my position at St Mary’s College, I implement the teacher’s education plan for each specific kid. We work one to one or small teams in our special learning class but we also work for an inclusive education, making sure children spend part of the journey in their respective year class. As part of the Kimberley’s region in WA, we keep and respect the indigenous influence at school, learning the language and supporting all the cultural legacy. Show less

I came to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa to improve my English, get out of the office and have different professional experiences. Covid19 came and I decided to extend for a second-year visa. Since then, I went deep into different jobs which have enabled me to work with all different cultures, being in a constantly changing environment, and get out of my comfort zone. This experience has taken a 360-degree turn in my personal and professional path but most of all It made me humble and thirsty to keep going learning • Hospitality: OBH Cotessloe barista and waitress; RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort housekeeper, waitress and monitor free time for kids. Kimberley Sands resort waitress and Seashells resort housekeeper •Kimberley kids childcare • Aupair for 5 months at a Perth family • Spanish teacher for 5 months • Mining industry: FIFO 2 weeks in 1 week off at the campsite: kitchen hand, dining room attendant, and outsider cleaner Show less
