  AIDA is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to turn human rights into a universal reality. They carry out development projects that are launched alongside their local partners. I volunteered with one of their partners in Spain, AIDA Books&More. This solidarity bookshop creates a meeting point that combines culture and solidarity, it also carries out awareness-raising activities and raises funds for development cooperation projects. By selling donated books at accessible prices, they use their revenue to fund various humanitarian and development projects. I was tasked with doing inventory in a systematic and organised matter, managing and handling orders, organising books in the bookshop, assisting customers by attending to their needs, enquires, and requests, and operating the cash register.
