  I work at the Hub of Hope Medical Clinic, a primary care clinic serving mostly unhoused or unstably housed patients, as a Behavioral Health Provider within their integrated behavioral health model. I conduct behavioral health encounters with primary care patients, including biopsychosocial assessments, collaborative identification of patient needs, and brief interventions. I also lead weekly group therapy sessions, as well as as-needed individual sessions, for patients engaged in the clinic's medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder program.

  I conducted my first year MSW internship at The Consortium, Inc., where I worked in their substance use disorder treatment facility. I ran 3-hour, psychoeducation-focused group therapy sessions as part of their intensive outpatient treatment program, integrating elements of CBT, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and motivational interviewing. I also conducted bi-weekly individual therapy sessions with participants. The internship was concluded in March due to COVID-19.
