Amy and I are childhood friends, reconnected more recently as we both find ourselves launching new businesses. The biggest reality in entrepreneurship IMO, is most of the time we were trained in the idea or service itself, not in how to run a business. From my experience, you don't make it far before you realize the importance of clear positioning and a strong sales and marketing process. I was lucky to be able to lean on Amy's experience here, and bring her in to help me better understand this. On an initial consult, Amy helped me to better articulate who we are helping, what problem we are solving, and how we uniquely serve them. We then had an opportunity to hold a 90 minute workshop with her and our whole team, where we reviewed our sales process and marketing content, diving into examples with our own copy and templates.

Amy is a great fractional marketing consultant and can add a lot of value to early stage companies through her wide experience. Amy created a very clear and concise review of our marketing strategy and how we could supercharge it through various channels. She really helped me pinpoint areas for improvement.

I met Amy as she was setting up her own business and was looking to better understand the tech entrepreneurship community in Scotland. What was immediately apparent was her experience and credibility in strategic marketing activity, growth, scale and positioning, but also her passion to educate, solve problems and generally help people in a very honest and altruistic fashion. The workshops she has run with Startup Grind Scotland have been so well designed, delivered and received, and she has been a constant pleasure to work with, bringing an upbeat, positive and truly authentic energy to the team and her work.
