Some of my responsibilities for event planning include: • Managed events drawing more than 10,500 attendees. • Manage all event logistics, including food and beverage requirements. • Obtain necessary permits. • On-site event management. • Recruit, schedule, and manage event staffing. • Contracting bands, various entertainers, vendors, and security. • Working with city inspectors and hiring off-duty police. I facilitate sponsorships for fundraising events (some off-site) for local non-profits that include the Central & Eastern Virginia Chapter National Multiple Sclerosis Society, United Network for Organ Sharing, Children's Health Involving Parents, Richmond 2015, Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation, Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Harrisonburg Renaissance, Virginia Manufacturer’s Association, Virginia Brewer’s Guild, Pink Boots Society, Habitat for Humanity and many others.
