Work directly with play directors on everything from creating custom patterns from original sketches and concepts to adapting final costumes for individual performers. Accomplishments • Only student ever to be invited to work full time for the costume shop. • Promoted to head seamstress after only one semester. • Designed and created costumes for plays such as: Cats, La Boehme, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lamp at Midnight, Mary Stewart. • Each semester for four years, taught two Sewing Basics classes per semester to classes of over 30 textile students. • Successfully managed costume shop in absence of the costume shop director for as long as two months at a time.
