Assist in the preliminary gathering of information and nutritional screening/ monitoring of dietetic patients by; using online systems, visiting designated ward patients/carers or telephoning them at home to collect and disseminate relevant information: • Measure and/or record on growth charts • Complete food diaries/ intake records • Retrieve and record biochemical results • Monitor individual patient’s compliance and consumption of dietary supplements • Calculate food portion sizes and input information from patient food diaries • Liaise with patient/carers at home to communicate routine normal blood results and compliance with dietary advice • Liaise with designated inpatients and the diet chefs regarding therapeutic diets to ascertain food preferences and assist in suitable menu choices • Collect baseline referral data from ward staff and the patient (e.g likes and dislikes for food and supplements) 3. Assist dietitians to input patient’s therapeutic standard feed recipes onto the computerised EDM systems. 4. To calculate and produce recipes for ketogenic diet patients depending on specific dietary needs 5. To assist with the running of outpatient clinics including weighing and measuring of patients attending outpatient clinics 6.
