Amy is a mature, self-confident and forthright lady whose assertive, engaging nature and mental agility always ensures that she rises to the challenges of her tasks with ease. An honest, reliable, conscientious, highly capable team player, she is invariably positive and enthusiastic in her outlook and her caring personality complements her ability to build effective teams. I grew to trust Amy’s wise counsel and never hesitated to use her as a confidante. I believe we developed a mutual appreciation of each other's capabilities, judgement and commitment and this has manifested itself as a strong beneficial friendship which endures today.

I worked with Amy in my role as Northern Area Council Member and later Trustee of the Royal Air Forces Association. I always found Amy to be a professional, conscientious and extremely hard worker, going above and beyond in her role. Often working in challenging situations, Amy managed expectations of stakeholders, across all levels of the organisation, and sought to seek an outcome that would be beneficial to all parties. During her tenure Amy always put the reputation of the RAF Association first, ensuring policies and procedures were followed, addressing any issues and providing solutions to those issues. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Amy and wish her all the very best for her future career.

I was appointed as Area Director, with the principle focus of leading the Northern region for the charity, with accountability for ensuring all 68 branches were compliant to Charity legislation, licensing law and rules, health & safety and regulations of the Association. I led an enormously successful career with the RAF, promoted through the ranks and divisions to expand critical skills and abilities. As Instructor, principle focus was the creation and delivery of the Phase Two recruit training courses, delivered to over 20 recruits at a time and running three courses concurrently. Notable Accomplishments: • I redesigned and rolled out a new course condensing time from 12 to 10 weeks, ensuring recruits were trained and ready to join the ranks promptly Show less
