Amy takes an inclusive approach to everything. She matches her communication skills to suit the audience while remaining sensitive to different ideas. A champion of diversity and an excellent advocate for others, I have no doubt in Amy’s abilities to excel in a advocacy role.

The Girls International Development Network started as a Whatsapp Group providing a space for womxn with an interest in International Development to seek advice, support, opportunities, and continue to build on their networks. This group quickly expanded to a Facebook Group and network with over 600 members from 20+ countries. I am incredibly proud that I could play a role on the creation of this group, as it has helped to provide its members with opportunities and experiences, as well as an invaluable support network! From a survey carried out: -100% of the group have said that they feel comfortable to ask questions. - The group has a diverse demographic, ranging from unemployed, undergraduate students, postgraduate students and young professionals. - 67% of the group indicated that the conversations that happen in the group are interesting and useful. In this role, as well as computer database usage, answering client queries and completing clerical tasks, I had financial and data handling responsibilities.
