Amy McCarthy is a heart and soul colleague. First off she does her job well. Never afraid to be the pioneer in a process like she did during our shoestring pilot to bring speed and efficiency to the RedfinNow process. Her success in leading the customer process was going to save millions in cost - without a doubt she was the first person I thought of to have that responsibility. So, she's good at work - what she does in the seconds in between is why everyone needs an Amy. She is vulnerable in a way that makes others around her know it's okay. She treats every colleague with dignity and respect - sounds common sense but she does it with expertise and support. My favorite Amy McCarthy quality is that she shares - how to do something better, how to use a tool or system that's already in place but not widely known, or where the best snacks are. She is hilarious and has the best laugh. She's just the best and I will treasure that we were able to work together AGAIN at Redfin.

My husband and I put our house in the market this past spring, and we enlisted the services of Amy McCarthy to help us find our new home, and I can only give her my highest recommendation. In an industry infamous for its stereotypes, Amy shatters every one. She is effervescent, kind, and professional. She was genuinely concerned that we found the right house for our family and worked tirelessly to make sure that happened. While the sale of our home was a slightly stressful process, Amy guided through the buying process so smoothly that it was nearly enjoyable (as much enjoyment as one can derive from being in the middle of two major real estate transactions, that is). To say that Amy gave us her all is a tremendous understatement Amy is a strong, clear, and effective communicator, and is ever the consummate professional. She pays meticulous attention to detail, and her sense of diplomacy is unparalleled. For those looking to work with someone who is well-informed, amiable, and as gracious as she is strategic, work with Amy.
