  Amy LeBlanc joined the Community Development Office in 1997. In her current role as Senior Project Planner, Amy manages public works and demolition projects, oversees subrecipients, takes part in grant writing and reporting and the development of planning documents such as the City’s Open Space and Recreation Plan. Amy provides support to the Fitchburg Disability Commission and supports efforts to make Fitchburg an accessible City for all residents and visitors. She recently became the Treasurer of the Twin Cities Rail Trail Committee and is very excited to help bring that project to fruition. Amy most enjoys the role she has had in managing projects that improve the city’s parks and playgrounds and she continues to seek funding opportunities and partnerships that will allow the city to continue to improve these facilities.
