      My first year at Jasper High School, I taught English IV. My second year, I taught English II and IV. The next year, I taught English IV and a dual enrollment Rhetoric course. After that, we partnered with Lamar Institute of Technology to offer dual credit classes. That year, my fourth at JHS, I taught English IV and dual credit English Composition and became the English department chair for the high school campus. My fifth year I continued as department chair and teaching dual credit and other English course in grades 9-12. I have been a UIL coach at JHS since 2014. I have coached poetry interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, LD debate, literary criticism, and Barbara Jordan and Latino History essay contests. Show less
