Visitor Experience Manager
-
Sep 2020 - Present
Currently a Visitor Experience Manager, I oversee the daily operations of Wycombe Museum’s temporary Pop-Up Exhibition which requires me to manage a team of volunteers, organise rotas, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promote the store via social media, and to order specialised technology. Skilled in administration, I maintain spreadsheets and analyse data from visitor surveys, and as an informal PA to the Museum Director, I also attend meetings to take minutes.I have also been successful in the introduction of a new Track and Trace system in line with GDPR requirements, and in supporting an increase in weekly visitor numbers, from 100 monthly visits to 675 monthly visits.

As part of this role, I mostly oversee day-to-day operations across the Museum, answering phone calls and speaking with visitors and volunteers. Recently I have been able to research and write display panels, and sometimes assist with conservation work.

Peer Assisted Learning Leader
-
Sep 2018 - May 2019
As a Peer Assisted Learning Leader, I facilitated weekly sessions for circa 20 first-year students to support them in their transition to university to build their confidence in learning. This required me to use subject knowledge and experience to forward plan and execute a range of activities. I also shared resources, led student interactions to address any issues, and approached learning with proactive solutions.
