  Helping families and children access early intervention and NDIS supports.ECEI Coordinators are the first point of contact for children and families transitioning to or entering the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As an ECEI coordinator I deliver the NDIS planning process; provide information, support and build the capacity of families with children with developmental delay and disability between the ages of 0-6. - Working with the NDIS to deliver this social reform in our communities. - Engage with families to gather information on the child that provides relevant evidence of their disability, developmental delay and/or functioning. - Provide recommendations based on professional judgement and information gathered that are most appropriate to the improvement of the child's development and social participation - Establish and maintain effective relationships with local and regional stakeholders including Early Childhood Education settings, mainstream and specialist services providing information and support to children with disability.
