  As the Student Learning Manager, I am responsible for ensuring the young people who partake in our courses, both online and offline, get the best experience and learning opportunities we are able to provide them. Dealing with teachers and parents at the start of the journey, through to dealing with students on placements, I have interaction with everyone at different stages.To ensure students are given the most relevant and recent information, part of my role is to research changes to the Medical School Application process, making sure that the students on our course are given the correct guidance by our teaching staff. Moreover, I responsible for creating, updating and distributing content before, during and after the courses for students. Customer retention, both for individuals and school groups, also features into my daily activities, advising schools of follow on courses, further study options and alternative career pathway information for their students. Having a thorough understanding of the content, the course operations and the needs of the students and schools allows me to best service all stakeholders.

  During my role as Operations Manager, I was responsible for creating, developing, maintaining and running work experience for worldwide pre-medical students aged 15-21 with placements based both in the UK and overseas. I was, and still am, the main point of contact for placement students and parents before, during and after student placements. This role also involved working with, and organising, a team of full time employees and part time volunteer programme assistants to ensure students receive quality educational placement, safe travel experience, and develop personal skills to assist them with university applications.
