  Ran two non-compulsory after school Drama workshops for small groups of primary school children that were having behavioural problems or special educational needs within the school, once a week.Drama workshops were based on an exploration of themes and topics that the students were having trouble with such as friendship, trust, being assertive and bullying. Had the opportunity to shadow and observe the interruptions and interventions made by the school´s art therapist to highlight key emotions that the students may have felt in the role plays, team building activities, improvisations, script work etc. Completed in-house training and online courses at Kids Company about child protection and safeguarding. Volunteered at the Kids Company Christmas day 2013 at the Oval Cricket ground for thousands of vulnerable children and families around London.

  Shadowed a Secondary school Drama teacher in her day-to-day routine as a teacher´s assistant to help and get a real insight to what a teacher´s day entails. Was involved with a Year 12 devised Drama performance, contributing ideas and support to help four young thespians produce a play for their assignment. Assisted with the school´s Christmas musical production with a true insight to behind the scenes of a school production.Observed how the teacher dealt with behavioural issues in the classroom and how Drama worked as a medium for students to relax after the school day and as a freeing form of expression.
