Human Resource Generalist
-
Nov 2009 - Dec 2013
At RTI I provided human resource support to achieve business objectives and strategic goals. As a Generalist I was involved in a variety of activities including; payroll, staffing, employee relations, benefits, training and compensation. First and foremost, I ensured that our 750 multi-state employees were paid accurately and in accordance to their state laws. I wrote policies and procedures and was responsible for updating our company handbook and presenting all of the changes to the management team. I conducted new hire orientations and began the socialization process for all new members at our corporate location. I worked with managers on disciplinary actions and the termination process to ensure legal compliance. I assisted our legal counsel with EEO, harassment and wage/hour claims, as well as trained our management team on how to avoid lawsuits in these areas. Each year I coordinated an annual company-wide review process so that all reviews and increases would be submitted once a year. In addition, I assisted the Recruiting Specialists and Benefits Administrator during peak times throughout the year. I was highly involved in several human resource projects and assignments.

Sep 2001 - Aug 2006
At ADP I strived to give our new clients a first-class implementation experience by exceeding their expectations on customer service, timing and accuracy. I coordinated between 35 District Sales Managers and the small business implementation team to ensure that the proper expectations were established and attained. I significantly reduced the time required for a new client to input their first payroll on ADP's system, resulting in the small business unit in Minneapolis reaching and/or exceeding their new client install goal for three consecutive years. This reduction in time also allowed the District Managers more time to focus on acquiring new clients. In addition, I assisted as a backup in a variety of areas; full level tax, customer service support, payroll entry, client training and sales administration.
