Working at the International Office, CBS, as a coordinator I am together with three other colleagues responsible for The Exchange Social Program at CBS. The Exchange Crew, which consists of approx 50 CBS students, is a group of volunteers, who assist in the planning and the execution of the Exchange Social Program (ESP) which is a social/cultural program offered to all the international Exchange Students studying at CBS each semester. The ESP consists of two introduction weeks just before the semester starts and various activities during the semester. The purpose of the program is to ease the integration process for the Exchange Students, to help them build a social network and to introduce them to Danish culture, Copenhagen and CBS. My primary working tasks are:- Creating brand awareness and brand equity of the program- Recruiting and leading the volunteers- Development the daytime program- Communication and negotiation with different partners and potential sponsors- Planning and organizing larger events (incl. a trip to Berlin for 80 students)- Logistics and more administrative work is also part of the job Show less

Limpopo Predator Park is a place with African wildlife. Currently the Park has lions, tigers, wild dogs, caracals, servals and many other animals. It is our job as volunteers to organize and structure the everyday life in the park. Besides taking care of the animals e.g. feeding, going on lion walks, checking their conditions, the running of the Park is roughly set to be the volunteers responsibility. By volunteering at Limpopo Predator Park my skills as a coordinator was challenged and improved through the period as I also learned a lot about African life and wildlife. Show less
