      Following the hotels change in ownership and transition to an Independent hotel, I was tasked with overseeing all Conference planning, events and weddings at the hotel to maximise this revenue stream. • Attending and organizing FAM Trips & Conversion days. • Setting up and managing corporate rate agreements with clients. • Creating the Conference, Wedding & Event budget for the year ahead, as well as planning strategies and rates for my team. • Coming up with new ideas to generate more revenue for the Hotel such as creating an online booking platform for small meetings. • Generating as much revenue for the Hotel as possible, last year was one of my biggest achievements as we hit record breaking figures for the Hotel which was down to a huge increase in additional Conference, Wedding & Event Business. • Continue to train my team, as well as motivate and support them to generate revenue and coordinate events to the best of their ability. This includes setting up incentives, organizing events away from the office and allowing them to make executive decisions which has helped them progress within the Hotel and also encouraged their loyalty to the Hotel. • Ensuring we are visible on the correct third party websites and offering suitable promotions. • Carrying out Duty Manager Shifts at the Hotel which involves being responsible for the Hotel, by handling general feedback of the Hotel guests and ensuring all staff members are operating correctly. • I continue to carry out showrounds at the Hotel for large enquiries and key clients to see if there is potential for further business and also build/ maintain relationships.
