      When I realised the lack of footballing opportunities for women in the Lewisham borough, I decided to start my own team. Through creating a strong social media presence, engaging the local community and contacting local authorities and businesses, we inspired over 90 players in less than six months to get involved in football and attracted funding, grants and sponsors to support our club.
