      I am in charge of the visitor programming in the Children’s Zoo area. We have live (hands-on) animal presentations daily. I am in charge of teaching our youth & adult volunteers proper animal handing techniques & proper animal presentations for the public. Discovery Walk is also an example of a Back Yard Habitat. I am also responsible for the seasonal changes of the Discovery Walk, from decorations to horticulture, to changing of themes. Our current theme is “The year of the Frog”. I love my job!!
