      Real Business was launched in 1997 as the UK's first magazine for entrepreneurs. Already the Editor of private equity title Real Deals, in 2012 my responsibilities were expanded to include the digital transformation of Real Business. Real Business has since made its transition from an extremely well-respected, print-first publication with a circulation of 40,000 to the most-read web-site for SMES with 238,000 unique monthly visitors. Key responsibilities and achievements• Continued to produce a fortnightly subscription magazine, daily digital content and related events for private equity title Real Deals, whilst also taking on responsibility for the digital migration of Real Business.• Recruited and trained a new digitally-led editorial team for Real Business.• Devised a digitally-led editorial strategy with a view to maximising audience figures (Grew to 192,000 under my tenure) for traffic-led advertising whilst maintaining editorial quality.• Created content campaigns for direct advertisers / sponsors to compliment agency-led display advertising, including technical guides and roundtables.       Real Deals is a print and digital publication for the European private equity industry with a fortnightly magazine and daily email newsletter. As Editor, I led a team of four journalists in creating exceptional content worthy of a £1,300 subscription price. With a focus on long-form investigative journalism, as well as breaking news, we won numerous awards and our subscription revenue has grown without interruption. I launched a data product, Real Deals Intelligence, and co-created a conference programme from scratch.
