There are numerous services including a health promotion unit including nurses, GP's, mental health team, safer injectors and a needle exchange as well as various client activities and services such as hot meals and showers. I work as part of the team in accordance with MQI's procedures to ensure a smooth service meeting the complex needs of our client group including, one to one key work interventions, assisting with issues around sensitive disclosures and assisting with referrals.   Working under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist in a group called 'Space2be' for children with autism and other difficulties with the social bond. 'Plural Practice' is the name of this precise modality of clinical work carried out by a group of practitioners who do not intervene from their professional backgrounds but act as partners of the child accompanying them towards the invention of their own solutions. My café served as a community hub for the people of Naas. My Philosophy was to create a welcoming space where customers feel relaxed and can avail of a simple, great menu in an informal and friendly environment.
